Racing Aspirations:

“To stay intact, have fun and improve my performance every time I go out this season. Just between us though, I intend to surprise the pro's and place well this year.”

Racing Experience:
"As far as "real" racing in cars go, I'm a genuine Rookie in all aspects. I have done many track days over the past years. I also did NASA HPDE events and ran in the 08 UTCC time trials. I took a Skip Barber 3-day school in 08 and participated in the last two races of the season in Pacific F2000 in Vegas in 09, but otherwise, I'm just fresh out the box. I've got a lot to learn and at 44, a lot to catch up on, but it's never too late to learn in my opinion. I have a regressive maturity disease. The older I get, the younger I feel and act! When reach 50, I'll be acting like a 16 year old!"

Most Memorable
Racing Achievement:
“Just finishing the race in the torrential rain at California Speedway on March 6th, 2010.”

Favorite Race Track
& Why:

"Laguna Seca. I took a 3 day formula Skip Barber School there and I loved it. I was the fastest student and I took to it like a young Scottish Shepherd does to a flock of freshly shampooed sheep!"

Racing Hero:
"Has to be Colin McRae. (Closely followed by of course Jackie Stewart). McRae was fearless and highly skilled but such a nice guy. Rally driving at that level is a skill that's hard to comprehend. It was deeply saddening to loose him in such a tragic accident with his young son and friends. We lived only a few miles apart when I was in Scotland and I met him a few times."

Hobbies/Interests:
"For many years, I was an aviation nut. I owned an ex RAF trainer (bulldog) which I kept and flew here in SoCal and I was a competitive Hang Gliding Pilot since 1984. That has recently given way to my childhood love of Golf and Fly Fishing and lately, running around SoCal in my 475HP Ariel Atom like a possesed teenager."
